  This place isn't perfect. But it's close. I am having a tough time thinking of anything negative. I feel like they serve real home cooked food here. Portions are not huge but they are high quality and enough. I wish they had a better beer selection. Would be nice if they ran some weeknight specials too. Maybe they do.

  The food was pretty good. But...
  
  This place seems a little pretentious for a cafe restaurant in a book store. Their breakfast menu isn't posted online, which meant I went in this last time thinking the menu would be much more brunch-like/diverse cause I had been reviewing the wrong one.
  
  Side rant: I'm sooo bored with breakfast and brunch places only having meals with eggs. I'm not a huge fan of eggs for breakfast and I'd rather have a sandwich or...something else hot and delicious that doesn't have eggs. And I've yet to find a place that will let you sub the eggs for something else. Have all of the other people who don't like eggs just given up and stopped going to breakfast?
