  I don't think I can give less than 1 star but maybe 1 star is reasonable because I did like the catfish. It was always hot, taste was good. That being said I turned a blind eye to the cleanliness issue in the whole building. I knew the place wasn't the cleanest but tried to tolerate it. Well today I encountered the new "bartender" who was the nastiest thing in the bar. She said she never bartender before, not a big deal, as I said I'm fairly tolerant so I didn't "think" this would be an issue. So I ordered a Bahama mama since we had the ingredients, she gives it a shot at making one. She then proceeds to put a tiny straw in the cup take a drink AND GIVES ME THE DRINK! THAT SHE JUST TOOK A DRINK OF! And then says "it's tolerable"! So I said that's great now can you make me one that you have drank out of! This goofy female says "I used a straw, I just took a sip"! I was tasting it for you! OMG! Never in all my years of working in restaurants have I seen such a horrible, gross, trifling act! Now my husband has ordered a pitcher of beer that has always cost $7, I refuse to drink anything now so he doesn't finish a full glass of beer. The blond "GM" who is throwing back as many drinks as the customers, says that pitcher is $15. Then says if you don't like it, don't come back. So because I won't go back, I will continue to call the board of health until they tell me to stop!

  I have never had an issue with any order. Food is always fresh and made to order.

  My whole family has been going there for years! The best cod around no doubt!!!! My dad loved their catfish also!!! I do not eat fish from any where else only cod from here :) since they moved in with Murray's the kitchen is a wreck but very good food and we only order to go but you can sit down there Nd watch them make your food so you know it's fresh! ( that's what we do ) never ever had bad food from Louisiana fish bar!!! Btw Murray's has the biggest fattest and the best hot wings around also!

  Dropped in at 2:15 Friday afternoo. aid $7.99 for a cod dinner. The fries were cold . Was told the warmer. .was not turned on . Fish was horrible. Would have been better if the two workers would have taken more time working and less time b s about their private lives. Very disappointed.
