  This is a fun, vibrant spot. Love the addition to PR!! Wife and I moved here May2016 and have been anticipating the opening of MM and Nine Giant. Loving what they are bringing to the area. Good food, good drinks, and great service. Very attentive. Can't wait to come back for live music; which is a rarity in the area!!!

  I have eaten at Molly's a couple of times now since it re-opened. I usually do not write reviews on restaurants, but having seen the content of most of the "one star" reviews I thought i would take the time to comment.
  
  First of all, the food and beer selection is more than acceptable for a venue of this type. I have rather enjoyed everything i have ordered and look forward to trying the things I have not. Comparatively, of all the times i ate at the old Molly's I was universally dissapointed with the food.
  
  Second, the venue itself is a vast vast improvement. I see complaints that they lost the "Coziness" of the old venue, etc etc. I think some people are recalling the old place through rose colored glasses. As i recall it used to be kind of disgusting. The bathrooms were a mess, it was hard to see, and it wasn't hard to imagine that everything, everywhere was dirty. The back area was closed off from the rest of the bar, and usually empty. Being dimly lit does not necessarily make a place cozy, it just makes it dimly lit.
  
  Third, and this is my genuine understanding, is that the original plan for the site was to just generally give it a face-lift and re-open. However, when the new ownership took over and started renovations, they discovered that the building had been neglected to a strong degree and had to essentially gut and replace.
  
  The result of the makeover is that the new bar is clean, open, and friendly. It is very much in keeping with the current profile of pleasant ridge as a family neighborhood, and where i never would have taken my kids to to the old place for dinner, i have and will continue to take them to the newly opened venue.
