  I like Outback... heck it's a steakhouse, I'm going to like it. I'm a typical steak-and-potatoes German... and man they have awesome potatoes!
  
  Now this trip was all sorts of ups and downs, and i'm really not 100% sure how to rate it... First off, our party of 7 was ready to leave before we even got our food order placed. The floor throughout one entire side of the restaurant was sticky. My shoes stuck the whole way to the table. 2 of us got there early, then 4 more showed up, then the last one a few minutes after them. The waiter took the first 2's drink order, and brought some bread. When he brought these, the other 4 had joined us, but he just dropped off our stuff, and went and talked with his other 2 tables by us. He finally came back and took the other 4's, but seemed really exasperated the whole time.
  
  Ok, I'll disclose that one of the girls was turning 21 and we were celebrating, we asked for his opinion on a drink but he was more worried about hurrying up and moving on (to what we don't know) Finally the last girl showed up, and then the waiter brought the 4 drinks out. The 21 year old just ordered a tea and said she'd pick out a drink for when he came back. When he dropped the drinks off she told him twice that she decided on a drink, and the 7th girl mentioned she would take her drink. he just walked away to go chat with his other 2 tables yet again totally ignoring us, even when we politely tried to flag him down and "sir" him nicely. In which he said "Hold on I'll get to you" very snarkily.
  
  At this point the 7th girl flagged down another waitress and asked for a manager (as 4 of us have worked in food service, we understand the difference between busy and rude, and he had a whole 4 tables in the place-we're chalking this up to it was originally a party of 8 and he was "guaranteed" 18% gratuity-which is why I hate when places do that.)
  
  The manager came over and apologized for his rudeness after we explained what was going on and we'd prefer a new waiter/waitress. The new waitress rushed right over, took the 21 year olds drink order and the 7th girls drink and app order and we were finally on our way to a better dining experience. Oh, and when i asked the waiter if they did anything special for birthdays (like most places will do a free dessert or drink or something little) he just looked at me rolled his eyes and said "umm.. no. We might do a tiny scoop of ice cream. but no." Funny, because at this point the manager brought over their signature drink for her, on the house, and took off her first drink (which she wasn't a fan of) and comped our blooming onion twice (as a random pop spill covered the first half of the first one-the new waitress brought us a fresh one.)
  
  The bonus is they even stored a cake we had bought in their fridge for us until we were ready for it, and added candles to it, lit it and brought it out to the table. Thats where they make up major points (that and we did share with the waitress and awesome manager.
  
  So there. solid 3 stars. the later part of the dinner made up for the beginning. But I can't give an extra star or 2 as 3 of us all ordered steak Medium (2 of us ordering the exact same entree) and one was well over done, one was right and the other was just under medium rare... you're a steak house... comeon...

  Rude staff. Manager matt allowed us to be seated at a table that was reserved then informed the customers that we had taken the seat allowed the customer to come harass is and then refused to address the other customer.
